Background

Heman Bekele is a 14 year old high-school student who loves science! He was recently named "Americas Top Young Scientist" by 3M and Discovery Education for his research on a bar of soap to help treat forms of skin cancer. In his free time, he loves running track & field, practicing piano, and advocating for STEAM education.
